Nice place!

Upon arrival there was a lot of energy (loud music) in the lobby/bar area, but it was Friday night, after all! Our room was clean and spacious and very quiet for sleeping. We had a bit of trouble with the front desk giving us the wrong room number.Convenient to the airport and parking was free. I definitely recommend it.
You will not be disappointed!

Other than having to call and wait for the airport shuttle, and the cheeseburger being a bit pricey at $18, this is a great place to stay on a weekend trip to San Francisco, or if needing a hotel while having a long layover, or arriving on a late flight into SFO.
Check the time on your bedside clock to see if it is set correctly.

This hotel has nice comfortable beds and follows a very nice upscale modern design. The staff are extremely friendly and the location is nice. Its mostly surrounded by buildings but since we were visiting San Fran, it was definitely a nice escape from the chaotic city scene. Its a very convenient location, about 10 minute drive from the air port and about 15 minute drive to the heart of SF city. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.

my husband & i spent two nights/three days at hotel sofitel and we absolutely loved our stay. the hotel is elegant and its lobby is very tastefully decorated. the room was very clean and had a great view of the water. the staff is friendly and most professional in their dealings with guests. we would definitely stay at this hotel again during our next trip to san francisco.

I love the sofitel chain and the Redwood city location did not disappoint. Located about 10 miles from SFO airport. Easy access. FREE Parking (unheard of in the San fran area). We were about 20 minutes from SF. Great beds, Great staff, Great laidback atmosphere, but no DR. Pepper. Very small pool, more appropriate for business travellers or tired parent who just want to get away, but want to be close to everything without all the noise. Only disappointment was the bathroom - typically sofitel bathrooms are luxurious - walk-in showers, seperate tubs. This one was just ok. Would stay there again. Higher price, but you get what you pay for - worth it for the serenity.
