Sofitel Hotel

We really enjoyed this hotel it had a very european feel. The fresh croissants where to die for every morning. Service was excellent and hotel had easy access. We are going to stay here again on our next SF trip!!

Beware this hotel is near nothing!!!! there is no easy way to get to San Francisco or the BART from here.....a taxi ride to Candlestick park will cost you $*....There is something wrong with the water pressure in this hotel and the pipes sound like loud horns everytime the water is turned on in your room or the neighboring rooms......The concierge is really not helpful....their solution to everything is renting a car.....DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL UNLESS U RENT A CAR.....

A little dissapointing for Sofitel standard. I stayed in room #955, whenever someone turn on the hot water (my room or room next door), the hot water pipe makes a loud noise. No fridge in the room.

The beginning started out horrible. We went to our room and found it an entire mess. The bathroom had used towels on the floor. The bed was not made, there was a glass with water that recently had been drank, and a newspaper with one section on the table. The management was shifty to be honest. The front end superviosr did what he could to please us and did an EXCELLENT job. He switched us rooms and then upgraded us to a suite. I was very impressed with how he handled the whole ordeal. The Housekepping manager Ana was a rude, self -centered, snobb. She was disrespectful with handling the situation, arguing with us the entire time. She does not know ANYTHING about CUSTOMER SERVICE. Only advice would be to check the room. The rooms are very nice, comfortable beds and pleasant views
