Stinky down in the Hole!

The hotel is at the top of the hill and when you pull up the view of the mountains is breath taking, but don't let that fool you if you get a forrest view room like ours! Our room was down in a hole at the back of the hotel, the parking lot was above us! When we walked in the room the soured smell was terrible! It came from the bathroom sink and didn't go away! When we walked out on the balcony to see what we hoped would be a beautiful view, it was nothing more than a few trees trying to hide the hotel parking lot below us. The ground was littered with beer cans and bottles which my eight year old pointed out first! We decided we were given a room that they reserved for people of come to stay the night and get drunk because when we woke up the next morning and opened the door once again someone had decided to drink their beer on our balcony! We had to clean up the mess before the kids got up and went outside! And the smell never goes away, and gets worse when someone flushes above you!! The room was very clean, pool was dirty. Will not stay here again!!

Room was outdated and very small. No coffee filters. Bathtub leaked. Wood balcony railing not very secure for being about 40 feet above the ground. Continental breakfast consisted of mini donuts. Only ice machine is located by the office. Most likely not stay at this hotel again.

Would definitely stay here again.

The last time my husband and I booked a room online (completely different website, city and hotel chain) our room was horrible so I was a little bit wary to book online again. However, I was completely pleased with our room, the service and the hotel in general and will definitely stay here again. Our room was neat and clean and completely liveable. It included a microwave and refrigerator (a great thing when you are traveling with a baby!) It's not on the main Gatlinburg strip which is a HUGE plus. You are close enough to walk on down and far enough away that you don't have to deal with heavy traffic and noisy people. The staff couldn't have been any nicer. I was even pleased with the continental breakfast...it was exactly as it had been advertised. We didn't swim in the pool but it appeared neat and clean and was being enjoyed by some enthusiastic little kids. Overall our stay at this hotel was a joy and we look forward to staying there again...hopefully for longer next time!

Great spot for families

We stayed here with friends, 6 kids all together. Had a wonderful time, we could see each other's rooms right across the way, the kids were back and forth all the time. They had the kitchen and we had the pool right out front. We stayed in the 2 bedroom king suite and all of the rooms were super clean and the beds were great. We stayed at the pool most of the day and the evenings when we got back from sightseeing, and for the most part had it all to ourselves-kids liked that the best. The only problem that we had was a malfunctioning smoke detector, and the management came up within 2 minutes of our call and fixed the problem, and we were a little disappointed with the continental breakfast. Other than that I would recommend this hotel to everyone, it was a great value for the money. We had to stay at another hotel for an unplanned extra night, and wished that we were back at this one, and the other was more expensive and had more stars, but didn't compare!

Great Value

I stayed three nights alone and felt safe and secure in my room. Great view from balcony on first floor. Quiet and peaceful. My room was clean and staff made certain I had enough towels. A little walk to the center of town; but I didn't mind the walk. Near a small theater(Sweet Fanny Adams). I really enjoyed the play/skits. Staff friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
