Booked three rooms for family vacation, left early next morning as soon as we found an other motel to stay at. Air Conditioner not working, broken bathtub fixture. Floors were fithy dirty. Staff very unaccomidating and rude. Worst motel I ever stay at over 36 years of traveling. Granddaughter had bites next morning, not sure from what. Mildew in one room growing on wall. Disgusting!
very unhappy

the service was terrible, rooms very small for a handicap person, we asked for a non smoking room and we were surrounded by smoking smells the whole weekend, even inthe hallways, we ask for are room to be cleaned and we ended up cleaning our own room and begging for clean linens. it was not worth the money we paid. as soon as we got there we wnated to leave.
Great Location for Cincinnati Work and Play

You should first remember that this is a Travelodge. With that said, I must say that I was impressed with the location. It is a short walk across the bridge (a quarter mile) to the Great American Ball Park where the Cincinnati Reds play. Right next to that is Paul Brown Stadium where the Cincinnati Bengals play. The walk from the hotel to downtown Cincinnati is about a half mile. You are also a short walk to Newport on the River. It's no more than a quarter mile walk. The riverfront mall has restaurants, bars, movie theater, etc. There's loads of entertainment for adults and children. I would recommend a vehicle if you plan on doing a tour of Cincinnati. If you are only going between downtown and the hotel, you will NOT need a vehicle. Either taxis or walking will serve you well. The Hotel itself is clean. The hotel workers are helpful. For being so close to downtown Cincinnati, this is a bargain. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Kind of a dump. Our cabbie called it a "crack hotel," but it is convenient for when I go down Bengals and Reds games. Not a place for a romantic weekend, but if you need a place to flop after a night of carousing the bars in Newport or Covington, or before or after a Reds or Bengals game, it is the perfect place.
Plus, it is in the "Free Republic of Kentucky" unlike the "Socialist State of Ohio." You can actually enjoy a cigar with your drink, or a cigarette with your beer in Kentucky. No wonder Cincinnati is going downhill, as is the whole state of "NO!hio!".
NO AC

There was no AC on a night with 95 temp. Room Service brought up filthy fan that did not work. Had to wear shoes in the shower. Everything smelled. No top sheet on beds. Holes in bedding. Looked like small animal chews. Pitiful dirty staff. Bullet holes in elevator doors and hallways. Left at 4 am because the heat was making us sick. If you value your life, safety and health DO NOT STAY HERE.
