Great Experience

The room we had was great. It was an older hotel, but the room was very spacious and very clean. 2 adults and 4 children fit very comfortably. The staff was courteous and helpful. The location was great (Only a few blocks from Grand Central Station). We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone including friends and family.

Stayed just 2 nights with Bride & 10 year old Daughter, The room was very large and clean. The hotel is located a bit out of the way, but with in easy walking distance to Grand Central Station, The area is a nice area. I will gladly stay there again. The staff was both Friendly and helpful. A relaxing place to unwind after touring the town.

Fabulous stay in a great location.

Love this place! Our family of 4 (2 kids ages 10 and 17) enjoyed a relaxing stay at the Eastgate. You are near so many things (shops, Grand Central Station, restaurants, local stores to pick up fruits and such) that it makes being away from home easy. Our room had a wonderful kitchenette and we found ourselves eating lunch or a quick snack there; then, off again to another attraction. The staff were always friendly and helpful-- guiding us to the "best" places to visit. They have a small but nice workout room that my son used daily to run/workout and the outdoor sitting area next to this hotel made it fun to people watch and enjoy NY. Would and will stay here again and suggest to others as well.

Wow!

My only regret about this stay is that I didn't have my family with me. I reserved a studio but got a HUGE one-bedroom suite. I was in town for a meeting that was within walking distance and the price was amazing for midtown Manhattan. Not much of a lobby and no restaurant on premises but I had a very tasty dinner at a Lebanese restaurant about 25 feet away. I found everything to be tastefully decorated although admittedly not the most up to date. The bed was comfortable, the couch was comfortable, the television worked fine and the shower was terrific. I would absolutely stay here again.
