Description
If you like a large hotel with many amenities, you will really like the Wyndham Anatole. Everyone at the hotel is extremely polite and helpful, and you will have all of your needs taken care of if you just ask. When I arrived in the room, I was greeted with a personal note and a bag of nuts (the good ones like Brazil nuts). As a Wyndham ByRequest member, I also had free high-speed internet access in the room. Don’t worry: they let you sign up to be a member on the spot if you want to get free access.
The room itself had plenty of room and a desk where I could get my work done. The bed was so comfortable that I overslept and almost missed my first morning meeting. Fortunately, I got a call on my cell phone that woke me up. The bathroom was also roomy. It had a nice shower (good water pressure) and nice bath products.
A pleasant surprise was the hotel fitness center. It has been rated one of the top 10 hotel fitness centers by several publications. In fact, it was as nice as any fitness center I have been in. There was a full court basketball court, a very nice pool with lanes for laps, a full range of free weights and machines, new fitness equipment, and a room for classes. There was even a croquet area outside. It was $15 per day with a discount for multiple days. If getting a good workout is important, I highly recommend you spend the money. Having said that, there is an outdoor running area with paths that run around a very large courtyard.
Attached to the hotel is a very large atrium. There are several restaurants and shops. In addition, the hotel has some very large conference facilities. I was attending a meeting and thought the facilities were fantastic. I especially liked the fact that the public areas in the hotel had wireless internet access.
All said, this is a very nice hotel that is consistent with other Wyndham properties I have stayed at. I definitely recommend it if you want to stay at a large hotel run by a familiar brand name.
