Grandvista's Woods Resort

We stayed in a two-bedroom lockoff unit that was huge. It was beautifully decorated and very clean and modern. The resort amenities were wonderful. The kids enjoyed the shuffleboard, volleyball, and pools!

The units and grounds were very nice, but our unit was very difficult to get to (about 30 steps and not lit at night!). The lock-out feature on our two-bedroom unit if great if traveling with older children or another adult couple.

The accommodations were wonderful. There were many planned activities at the resort and discounts for shows.

The unit itself was very well appointed. We really enjoyed the lock-off second bedroom.

Best Things Nearby:
Branson's shows are something to see. Most amusements were shut down for the season. Eureka Springs, about an hour away in Arkansas is worth the trip for its shops, architecture, and general beauty. Silver Dollar City was closed.

Best Things About the Resort:
The suite was spacious and very well equipped. Hiking trails and waterfalls on site provided nice retreat. This resort is really on a beautiful spot. You have no idea you are only minutes from the hustle and bustle of Branson.

Resort Experience:
This resort is on a beautiful piece of land. With our window open, we could hear the water going over the small waterfall in the valley below. It was so peaceful and relaxing to come back to this after the traffic and crowds of Branson -- even in the off season. The resort staff was friendly. The units were very clean.

We would like to come back in the summer, but even in December/January, we had a couple days in the high 50s. Grocery shopping was a little out of the way. There are factory outlets for those that want to shop. Although the country music shows are a big attraction, we aren't big country fans and still found plenty to do. We have recommended Branson and Cedar Ridge to friends. We are returning to Branson to see what is like in the summer this July.

Best Things Nearby:
Nature walk with waterfalls.

Best Things About the Resort:
It's quiet in the middle of a busy city.

Resort Experience:
This resort is wonderful. It is quiet, has pretty flowers, lots of trees, and a nature walk that ends near a waterfall. Our whole family enjoyed being there.

The cabins were like staying in a small house. We all had room to spread out and really enjoyed our stay there.
