After spending all day at the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot, we arrived at our room at about 10PM. The air conditioning was on for about 20 minutes and it went off. The A/C system only work in auto mode, I had to call for service in the middle of the night because the unit would not turn on and we woke up sweating. We were not able to sleep after that because of the lack of air circulation. The technicians who checked the unit told us that all they could do was to replace it in the morning. No help for us that were leaving in the morning.

stayed here during our 1st disney trip. i was w/ my sister and nephew who were visitng, and my boyfriend. the room was clean, no bad odor, doesnt smell like cigarettes or smoke. it was a little small though. the 2 beds were just double beds. we got the water view room that faces the river. the only thing is that the internet access wasnt free. it was 10 dol i think per day. and no free continental breakfast. the food in their food court was bad and a little pricey i think for that kind of food served. better just bring some snacks and water. the pool was nice. it was kid friendly. the location was nice its close to the theme parks and water parks. i like it cuz their were buses that can take you to the parks so you wont have to drive. there were boats by the river that can take you to downtown disney area. the staff were friendly especially those peeps who work in the food court. i would say if would return to disney i would just stay in a villa outside the disney area. i think i would get better value for my money. overall i think the accomodation is too expensive given the limited amenities. i think shuttle buses going to the disney area are also being offred by hotels located outside the disney vicinity.

The resort has a wonderful Mardi Gras feel to it, It was creatively decorated. My children loved the pool with the slide. The staff was very helpful and pleasent and made you feel at home. The rooms were cleaned daily, which I liked cause when we came back I didn't have to do anything. : ) I enjoy vacationing there at least once a year and would recommend to anyone to go.

You're close to all parks yet feel peace and quiet in this lovely location to escape from the all the activity in the park. The boat to downtown and walking path by the river are a plus, the rooms are tasteful, the store stocked with necessities, but the restaurant is sorely lacking in options, good food and healthy food. A good restaurant would make this place ideal. The bus picks you up first and drops you off first and the wait is never long.
