Major road construction and mysteriously disappearing personal items.

Quote: This hotel is a bit of a run-down flea-bag with major road construction blocking the entrance. I've never been quite as nervous about taking a shower in a hotel room. The place is definitely showing its age. Also, while I was there, someone (I can... Read the full Days Inn Washington Arlington review

Internet connection unavailable the entire stay.

Quote: The hotel staff said it was the internet provider's problem and the internet provider said it was the hotel's problem that the internet connection was unavailable. In the end it was the guests' problem. I went next door to the restaurant and used... Read the full Days Inn Washington Arlington review

Avoid This Hotel

Quote: We have been traveling all over the country staying at Days Inn wherever we can , this far and away is the worst. The building is shabby, no standard amenities like fridge or even ironing board in room. Our traveling partner was complete with a... Read the full Days Inn Washington Arlington review

Old but cheap and clean

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 12, 2011
Quote: I wanted to stay near DC with family on the cheap and this did the trick. The hotel was not very close to a subway stop but there was a shuttle. This hotel is definitely dated, but given the high cost of lodging close to DC I was happy to find this.

Hotel was clean - GREAT shuttle service to Metro System

Good value for a budget hotel

Quote: This is an average hotel in a decent area. For being one of the least expensive hotels in the DC area at the time that I stayed, I came away satisfied. The biggest drawback was that the bathroom was a bit dated, but that's to be expected for a... Read the full Days Inn Washington Arlington review

Quote: A great place to stay in the DC area. Van takes you to Metro stop on the hour. As a senior traveling alone I feel safe and quite comfortable at this motel. I always try to stay here when traveling to Washington.

Pretty standard

Quote: Days Inn is pretty typical in what they offer again. Friendly staff, and what you'd expect from a room there.

Good for the price

Quote: Stayed here with my husband. Room was clean and quiet, staff courteous and friendly too. It is in a convenient location and they have a nice mediterranean place nearby where we had dinner. Drawback - room was very tiny, and so was the bathroom.... Read the full Days Inn Washington Arlington review
