Description: I stayed here for a week with eight people total, in two separate rooms. This was for a conference in February 2006. We booked the rooms online and got a very good deal, roughly $100 per night. The rooms were clean, and a decent size. There was plenty of room for four girls in each room, with their suitcases to spread out and not get in each others way. The beds were kind of flat and didn’t have much give, but they were not uncomfortable. The only problem we had was that the showers were very short! I am not very tall and I barely fit under the shower head. It is adjustable, but it only points up and gets water all over the place. The sinks were kind of low as well, but not as much of a problem—there is no soap dish though. Housekeeping was there everyday, and brought things right after we called for them (extra towels, etc.)The man at the desk was also helpful in pointing out good restaurants. The hotel restaurant was only open for breakfast and lunch, but we never tried it.Overall, the room was quiet, but we did have some noisy neighbors—they were teenage boys, which made them exceptionally loud. There was very little noise from the street. The neighborhood was fine; within walking distance of the Space Needle and Seattle Center, as well as the Convention Center. Pike Place Market was also not that far away, but if you aren’t a walker, it is a short cab ride away. There was also a very nice doughnut shop right down the street that opened early in the morning and had excellent fresh doughnuts and coffee.Unfortunately, the monorail was not working while we were there, but perhaps we were spared some noise! The best source of transportation is the free bus within the downtown area, or just walking. There are many cabs available, but the bus is free! This hotel is ideal for budget travelers, who are just looking for a clean, decent place to stay. It’s nothing fancy. Your best bet for getting to and from the hotel is the shuttle service from the airport. It will drop you off at the Warwick hotel which is only 1 block away from the Ramada. Round-trip is $17, and you can pay at the airport, or on the bus with cash. It is a pretty good deal.
