Best Things Nearby:
Be sure to walk on the Rockland breakwater to the lighthouse!

Best Things About the Resort:
We loved the journals provided by the resort! They go back to 1990. It was fascinating reading notes left by previous visitors on what to see, do, and where to eat!

Resort Experience:
This is one of the most beautiful resorts we have visited. It is located directly at the water's edge, and the sound of the fog horn at night adds even more atmosphere. The on-site golf course is challenging, and the health club is well-outfitted. There is plenty to do on the grounds, and more attractions are within easy driving distance. Two restaurants provide casual or upscale dining.

Poor, cramped, not well maintained. Beautiful grounds and decor. Do not rely on resort to be helpful in having activities or planning tours. Staff unknowledgable about surrounding area.

Best Things Nearby:
Tours galore. Lighthouses, nature, winetasting, and the countryside.

Best Things About the Resort:
Great appearance.

Resort Experience:
It's a beautiful resort with an incredible view, but if you don't play golf or can't afford the ridiculously expensive green fees, they have very little else to do as far as activities. They are not child friendly in the least. The unit is small in comparison to all other timeshares we've been to, and the housekeeping staff is less than motivated. We would never return.

Best Things Nearby:
Golf Course surrounds the resort. Breakwater - Man made in the late 1800s. Very good area to walk out into the ocean and gain a view of the Rockland harbour. The Breakwater is 7/8 th of a mile long and has a lighthouse at the end.

LLBean is only a two hour drive away. Camden offers quaint stores for shopping.

Best Things About the Resort:
This is a very friendly resort. The service is excellent, and one never knows who they are going to see at the resort. (i.e. some well know movie personalities) The resort has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts and of course the Golf course, which is well known (Pebble Beach of the East).

Resort Experience:
The time shares are very close to a large hotel/conference centre, and are located in three separate buildings. Each building is three floors, and has 24 units. All units look out onto the Golf Course and the ocean. There are private decks, where you can just sit and watch the golfers go by.

There are many activities for the kids to take part in during the summer months. We really enjoy it here because we have friends that come each year. One night is always spent with us having a barbeque. We buy a large tenderloin and barbeque it on the pits provided. Then we add ceasar salads, fresh corn on the cob, and baked potatoes. There are usually eight adults in the party plus six or more children.

There is a very scenic view of Pilgrim''s Rest and Blyde River Canyon. The lodge overlooks Sabie River and is literally in the forest canopy. I went tubing down the river, which was cold but fun! They have a swimming pool, bar and lounge - and it''s a good place to relax!
