non smoking please

we requested a non smoking room, and upon entering the room noticed a bad smell, in the morning we realized this couldn't be a non smoking room with cigarette burns on the carpet and basin, with yellowish dust balls hanging from the ceiling & light fixture over the bed.
We complained and they moved us to another room, which was better but the allergies were already aggrivated. Bed was hard
