With traveling a lot for work, I was very pleased with this hotel and the accomodations. Clean rooms, beautiful contemporary decorations and comfortable surroundings. A perfect stop after a day of shopping! The only thing I did not like was the staff member taking the time to make two waffles while paying customers were waiting to use the waffle iron.
Room needed maintenance

Beds were comfortable but that was about it. AC unit made squeeking noises at night that were fixed by the staff upon request. The sound on the TV kept cutting off after about 15 minutes of use. The wooden frame of the bathroom door was broken and the door to the bathroom was this awkward sliding contraption with a tiny finger sized indentation for a handle. Definitely in need of serious updating. 3rd floor hallway smelled of smoke.
Location was quite central to everything and the breakfast had limited selections. I was very disappointed in the shape of the room and would hesitate to return.

The staff was friendly, responsive and informative. The hotel was very clean - no mold in sight. They must have fixed whatever mold problem they had in 8/07. The kids loved the indoor pool. The breakfast was basic - cereal, bagels, danish, instant oatmeal, fruit and they had waffle irons to make your own waffles. The hotel is just a couple of minutes from the Williamsburg Visitor Center and located near many restaurants. We had a great stay at a great price and would stay there again.

It was an ok value for the money we spent, but would not stay again. The pool had what appeared to be vomit on the pool deck and mold was everywhere in the room and in the Breakfast area. Needs a good cleaning with bleach. The best part was their staff, helpful with questions.

We were very happy with our stay, didn't need all the bells and whistles, we were there for the parks and beach, not the hotel room. Everything was clean, non-smoking room actually WAS non-smoking! Staff was very accomodating. Night check in was grumpy, but didn't bother us. Breakfast was good and they kept everything replentished. (as much there at 9:30 as there was at 7) and making your own belgian waffles rocked! Room staff noticed we had 5 in the room, and provided extra towels without being asked. I esp liked the big walk-in shower (no tub) easier on iffy knees.
