After our vacation was over, I was very glad that we booked here at the Carlton! It is very clean, near to a lot of sites, safe and liveable. The only thing I would warn about is the possiblilty of what size bed you may get - we stayed for 7 nights and didn't even get a queen size bed. My wife said it was a full size. It was definitely quite cramped - maybe that was why the price was quite reasonable. I don't travel a lot, lot but don't you usually at least get a queen size bed when you say you have 2 adults? Anyways....

The hotel is located in the middle of the manhattan area and the staffs are so great. The concierge is very helpful, the bellman is there to assist anything we need. The room is small but very confortable and clean. We had a problem with our car and it was raining, the vallet personnel, Stephen, was very helpful. He gave us the umbrella and offered us all helps. We will definetely stay there again.

A jewel in the mid-town area of Manhattan. This mid-size hotel truly caters to your needs in an upscale sense with a mid-scale price. A very romantic setting for a couple (candles on all the stairs!)

The Bell Man was almost non-existant. The room was match book size. The bathroom was so small that two people could not fit inside at the same time. When sitting on the toilet, my knee bumped into the toilet paper holder. For the price that I paid, I would never go back.

The Carlton is a nice hotel, but lacked on service. I had a problem with my billing and have called several times and been put on hold for over 10 minutes at a time. I have been hung up on, too. I even left a message fir the Manager on Duty and did not receive a returned call. I left the hotel pleased, but will not return due to the poor service after the stay.
