We had an issue with a rude guest and when it was addressed with management, we were dissatisfied with the way it was handled. The manager said, "You booked with a travel agent so I'm not sure what you want me to do since you didnt really do business with us, you did business with a travel agent." She offered a free breakfast which we did enjoy, but her professionalism wasn't up to par. The woman who greeted us upon arrival was exceptionally friendly and the other employees we encountered were pleasant as well.

Hotel has some GREAT views. Look right out of the balcony to the ocean. Beach is litterally steps away, you cannot get any closer. Staff was friendly, most chatted with you in passing. Only complaint is the entrance off the beach, the key lock was broken and looked like it might have been for a while. Other than that, loved it there and will most likely be back next year.
Dirty Bathroom

Just returned from short trip through Virginia, Our last stop was 2 days at the ocean.
Very disappointed with the dirty bathroom. There was caked urine behind the toilet seat. I can't imagine how long it was since last cleaned.
The room was tired and the air conditioner was loud.
The positive side, comfortable bed and great viiew of the beach.

Location is excellent, but staff quality is very poor. They cannot find my booking and ask me to try another Holiday Inn. Only when I show my confirmation email did they admit that they have wrongly given my booking to another guess. Air conditioning is too noisy. Next day at 10:30am no water no wireless access. Don't know if they use this method to make sure all guest check out before 11am. I just feel : bad experience, not worth the price
noisy air conditioner

Air conditioner is very noisy and it disturb my sleep. Front desk service is poor. They cannot find my booking and ask me to try another Holiday Inn (coz there are 3 Holiday Inn around the area). I show them my confirmation letter, then they know they have mistakenly given my room to another guess. Anyway finally I got a room. But somehow the room is out of water / wireless internet at 10:30am sharp. I just wonder if they use this method to push customers to check out.... Conclusion is, very disappointed, doesn't worth the price.
