The rooms are disgusting. The walls have water damage. There's mold/mildrew. The rooms smell awful. The carpet is old, slimy, stained, and wet in spots. The furniture looks like they dragged it out of a dump. They charge your credit card for you entire stay when you check-in and management does not do refunds even if you leave early. The front desk says the owner refuses to put any money into the hotel. It shows! What a dump.
Gross!
This hotel is disgusting. The walls have water damage, the wall paper has pulled away in places, and there is mold and mildew. They showed me a couple of rooms and they were all the same. The carpet is old, stained, and wet in spots. The furniture belongs in a dump. The place smells awful. They charge your credit card for your entire stay at check-in and will not give a refund even if you leave early. The front desk says the owner refuses to put any money into the place. It shows!

I just got back from a 3 night stay at this hotel, And i thought it was just great. Our room was wonderful, we stayed in a suite it was very roomy plenty of rooms 4 the kids to run around in a play hide a seek. Our room was also very clean. the carpet is a little worn, and the breakfast could be better but over all the hotel is a great place to stay in gatlinburg for the price............. me an my family will be back again.. And the staff there were WONDERFUL

Old run down-out dated...needs renovating. Although room was spacious and clean- bed was comfortable--we actually put a clean sheet over the sofa--carpet was so worn--I wore my socks and shoes at all times. the furniture was so old... the breakfast was store boxed donuts -ceral-coffee and juice--there are several places close by that you can get breakfast--for the money--stay at bearskin lodge or down on River RD nearer to the aquarium... this place was worth about $* a night--not $*.... the front desk staff (the woman) was on the phone talking to someone (sounded like a personal conversation) agruing. Just don't stay here --you'll be disappointed!!!

Hotel is located at Stop Light #10 and up the hill. There are excellent views of the mountains in both front and back. We liked that the hotel was not on the main drag and offered peace and quiet from the traffic as well as privacy for the pool (which was heated). The trolley goes right pass the hotel and they were accomodating to stop for us and let us get on or off right at our hotel. You will see the Ober Gatlinburg Tram "fly over" the hotel several times an hour. The rooms were spacious giving three of us and our luggage room to spread out. It was nice to have a mini fridge in the room to keep cold drinks on hand and be prepared with water bottles for the day's adventures in the mountains. It was refreshing after coming back from all day trips to sit on the balcony that over looked the river. It was also pleasant to sit back in the morning as the sun came up and listen to the sound of the rushing water below. The free breakfast consisted of cereal, muffins, donuts, juice and coffee and was just enough of a light bite to hold us over until we ate lunch. We walked to many restaurants nearby including Bennett's BBQ and The Park Grill (well worth the price) as well as other Gatlinburg attractions. We would consider staying in this hotel again on our next visit to Gatlinburg.
