nice place to stay with kids

The room was comfortable the front desk staff was friendly and helpfull. We enjoyed the stay. They had tornado warnings the second evening and the staff was quick inform us about what was going on and what to do. They had a good breakfest every morning. The cleaning staff how ever would show up to early (kids still sleeping) and not come back again later.

Wonderful Experience!

Staff was very welcoming and friendly! Had a speedy check-in. Building was very nice...well decorated and very clean. The breakfast was incredible! Can't find that at a hotel in California. The rooms were very luxurious and also very clean.

Incompetence

It should not require four trips to the front desk at check-in to get a key that works! And a problem with a credit card charge took 2 weeks and four phone calls (always with a promise of a return call which was never kept) to resolve. Never again.

Great Hotel. Check-In was awesome, staff very friendly. Pool & Hot Tub was great. Room was very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was great, biscuits & gravy. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The worst stay we have ever had.

To begin with, We checked in and had already paid through online travel, and they charged us again themselves. Our room was on a no smoking level in a no smoking room, there were cigarette burns in the thin comforter that covered a sheet and the only blanket offered was on the shelf with tons of rips and burns as well. The sink area was dirty and there was no laundry bag. The worst part of the stay started at 11:00pm and carried on until 2:00 am. There were several young adults that were on the same floor drinking, smoking in the halls, running, pounding, slamming doors, yelling and stomping. I complained 4 times to the front desk, and all the lady could say is that she would talk to them. The front desk attendant offered to put us on the first floor not knowing if it was smoking or not, and as bad as the noise was already my thoughts would be that we would still hear the noise. The attendant said she would talk to them again. After the fourth complaint around 2:00am I finally had enough so we packed our belongings and went down to check out. While taking our things to the car we noticed several young adults smoking and drinking in the parking lot. One even tore out of the parking area going over curbs into an intersection, thats how much they were drinking. When we were at the front desk they were still roaming the halls, and I pointed that out to the clerk. They were on the first floor where they wanted to put us. It is worth spending more money to stay at a Holiday Inn or Stay Bridge in Lincoln. Where is the SECURITY!!
