Job well done

  • July 28, 2008

The front desk personnel was very friendly and organized. Didn't have to wait long to get to our room as everything was ready and waiting on us. The pool was great. My kids has a ball. Overall hotel standards and accommodations were good. The furniture in the living area was a little worn, but other than that everthing else was great.

The hotel was excellent. We were very satisfied with everything. It had everything we needed. It was worth the money for the comfort of the bed alone. I would stay again if I had the oportunity.

Obviously caters to military men

I travel on business quite a bit and try to take my family with me whenever possible. As such, I tend to travel in suites and extended stay rooms for the amenities provided. The room was well stocked (better than most) but was absolutely filthy. Having a stocked kitchen is of little value if you have to go to the local store to buy cleaning supplies to clean the room yourself. The shower curtain was mildewed looked as though it hadn't been replaced in years which was a stark contrast to the newer look of the rest of the suite. The bath supplies were top notch, too bad we'll wait until we get home to use them. The location is nowhere near the beach - not an issue for business/military travelers but could be serious letdown to beachgoing vacationers. After what sounds like a negative review you may wonder why I gave it such a high rating. The bed was wonderful and with the exception of some housekeeping issues, this hotel/resort could be an oasis of class in an otherwise sea of mediocre local hotels. I hope the management of Casa Grande reads these reviews and make the needed changes soon - I would like to return but would hope I wouldn't have to clean every square foot of the room myself next time.

It had ANYTHING you could need

I really liked the whole stay. Most of the staff was extremely friendly, aside from one person. The room had a washer/dryer, MULTIPLE TOWELS, anything you could possibly need to make a full meal (pots/pans/measuring cups/baking dishes!) and we had a spacious living room and a separate bedroom. It was worth it...a little far from the beach and the nightlife, but with a car...it's worth it.

VERY PLEASED

The stay was nice, i had a kitchen, living room, and seperate bedroom, the complimentary breakfast was also very good. Specially to be free, alot better than muffins and cereal. Only bad thing is that the unit did need some repairs, but nothin that was rediculous.
