Unfortunately i had a horrible experience! The weekend was suppose to be a relaxing one, but we ended up feeling more tired we we left. It was due to the fact that your hotel has those air conditioning systems in your room and it is way too noisy. We were unable to get a good nights rest all 3 nights. My girlfriend didnt even fall a sleep on one of the nights.

my girlfriends and i wanted to be in LA for new years so we decided to stay in the southbay. since one of the girls was from there. we all were very surprised with the level of professionalism from the staff. How big and clean the rooms were. and above all, the great location. Tons of restaurants surround that hotel. and really good ones, like benihana and elephant bar. And not to mention the mall, superb!!! botttom line, i had a great time there and i wanted to write this review so that others who are thinking of going will stop thinking, and just GO! because i had a wonderful experience!

I stay in Torrance often on business, this was the first time I experienced the Doubletree. The staff was great, made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Nothing better than a Doubletree cookie either. The rooms are nice, the pool is great and the location is perfect. I choose a different restaurant every night for dinner! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Disappointed

The Executive floor was a joke and a rip off. I made this reservation as a treat for our 12 year old daughter who was testing for her black belt the next day. When we got there we were not greeted and there were no bellmen. When we got in the room I had to call downstairs just to check if this really was the executive floor. The only thing that was as promised were the nice linens on the bed. The place smelled like cigarette smoke and had no other amenities as advertised (no bathrobes, upgraded shower head, key access to the floor, etc.).The customer service was non-existant.

Good Hotel
