Microsoft Hotel, Beckley, WV

  • 5 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • July 6, 2009
Quote: We found the Microsoft Hotel extremely clean, great location to highway and a large variety of eateries. I will stay at the Microsoft Hoetel again, as I travel that way 3-4 times a year. The front desk personnel was very good. (The gentleman, the... Read the full Microtel Inn review

No whirlpool, pool unusable

  • 2 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • August 9, 2008
Quote: Could not even see the bottom of the pool, it was so dirty. The whirlpool had been broken down for two weeks. Manager seemed unconcerned. Breakfast room tiny, and breakfast mediocre. No one cleaned the area all morning. No coffee pots in the room.... Read the full Microtel Inn review

Great location- Good Price

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • October 10, 2007
Quote: Room was very clean & fresh - room was small though - great for 1 person- little crowded for two. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good safe environment as I was traveling alone.

The Price is Right

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 26, 2007
Quote: We stayed one night on our way from NC to IN for a family visit. We arrived quite late and were pleased to find that there were no hassles checking in. Even our dog enjoyed the stay (probably just glad to be out of the car). Great value!!!

Needs improvement

  • 1 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 19, 2007
Quote: rude front desk, charged wrong price, small pool (no life guard and children jump on your head--even in the hot tub!!!); breakfast was small and the guy watches you like a hawk; children running down halls and banging on doors late at night.

Poor excuse for breakfast

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 2, 2007
Quote: The Motel was close, clean, staff was friendly, but the breakfast was pitiful, needs lots of improvement, no fresh fruit, applesauce in containers was it. No cereal, pastry was only muffins. Everything about the motel was fine.
