Disappointed

Although the pictures that are posted are beautiful......the room looks nothing like them. we were in a room that has not been touched since the early 1960's, (except the boom box, that was sitting on top of the refrigerator may have been added in the 1980's.) I can say it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. What a disapointment to walk into, after seeing what is posted on line. We were told at check in that there would be no phone, no iron, no hair dryer, which I can understand because there is not even an outlet in the bathroom. Although they were able to round up an iron for us, which was helpful. The sign posted over the sink "This kitchen is not equipped with a garbage diposal" was a nice touch. Multiple layers of carpet over the linoleum floor must keep it warm but wasn't much to look at. There was a book for visitors to write about their experience, multiple pages were torn out, and only the positive few were left. We went to Breckenridge for a wedding, which was right next door, thank goodness we didn't have to spend much time in the room. Wish we had spent the extra money and stayed at the lodge. Don't trust the pictures make a phone call first and ask if the pictures posted are where you will be staying. Silly me I assumed the photos attatched, were of the place I booked.
