The hotel appearance was lovely. the rooms were nice and very clean. We had an issue with the television not working and in less than 5 minutes after calling the desk, the maintenance engineer was there and had it fixed and re-programed within another 5 minutes. The bellmen were also very nice and friendly. The area was nice, but a bit far from Times Square which is where we spent a lot of time. Yes, we took the Subway at Grand Central to Times Square each day to get theatre tickets, but it was a bit inconvenient to go back to the hotel due to the fact that it was out of the way due to the events that we were scheduled to attend. The only reason I would not stay there again is because of the location to Times Square. The hotel was WONDERFUL!!!

Good location and a good value for the money. Valet parking was a little steep ($45 per day) but parking is expensive all over NYC. The hotel was just 3 blocks from 5th Ave and 1 block from Grand Central. We would definitely stay there again.

I have stayed at this hotel several times when I am in New York. The location is central to many things in the area. The staff is always nice and willing to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. I recommend this hotel to anyone who travels to New York.
