Great hotel if you are traveling with kids

This hotel was a nice surprise. Very clean and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Kitchen was fully equipped with full size fridge and freezer, gas stove, microwave, plates and utensils. Microwave broke the 2nd day. We reported the problem on the way out in the morning and had a new one when we returned that evening. Big dressing area and kitchen area in addition to bedroom. 5 blocks from the metro, 4 blocks from the memorials and tour bus stops. Felt very safe inside the Georgetown University area. Lots of big fluffy pillows on the beds. Highly recommend the State Plaza Hotel.

State Plaza: beautiful

The room was beautiful: wide, big, clean, big TV....and also cheap. The nearest metro is 10 min walking far. But the overall location is very good. The National Mall is at few minutes from there, and you can find a CVS right next to the hotel

very old hotel

The hotel was described as very close to the metro station but it was much farther than described. The first room we stayed in was very hot with the a/c on the whole day. The front desk was very helpful and moved us to another room. The wi fi didn't work in the second room. They moved us again and this time to a suite. The room was very spacious but the hotel is very old and run down. This hotel needs a remodel very badly.

My nephew and I went to visit the capitol for a few days and the location was great and the staff friendly and helpful. Rooms a bit old and could use some spucing up but the bed comfortable - bring own food as dinning place pricey. Generallly satisfied if needed would stay again

good
