The room was great. Four adults stayed in the room and we had plenty of room to move about. The kitchen is an added plus with the CVS right next door we never went out for breakfast (we could purchase milk, cereal and other snacks pretty reasonably there)- grabbed a bite in the hotel and off we were to see the sights. It was a bit noisy every morning from a garbage pick-up but that was not the fault of the hotel. It was also a bit warm in the room but we cracked a window and that helped. The thermostat didn't seem to really work - we turned it way down and it never affected the warm temperatures. The staff was pretty helpful but seemed a bit more interested in visiting with one another at times. All in all it was a good experience and I would definately stay there again. The proximity to the National Mall was a plus (about 4 blocks) and we walked to the Mall almost every day. You are closet to The Wall and very close to The Lincoln Memorial and the Korean War Memorial. The Metro is about 1/2 mile a way but the walk takes you through George Washington University and very safe. The hotel was very clean and we used the two computers in the business center daily. There was only one time there was not a computer available. I just waited 5 minutes and returned. The fitness facility was a ways away (my daughter used it) but functional from what she said. I would easily recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very clean hotel, Staff was very helpful. Kitchenette had new plates and pots and pans. Huge money saver for a family. My valet parked car was washed for me without asking. Room was always very clean. Hotel is about four blocks from the Memorials and about four blocks from the metro station. Free internet in room and two office center computers available for free use. Great if you need to print a boarding pass. Fitness room is small, cardio equipment all worked fine but universal machine needed attention with a can of WD-40. Only problem was that room was too warm and thermostat did little to change the temperature. We opened the window and that solved the problem, other than that our stay was excellent. For the money highly recommended. not luxury, but very nice.

would definitely stay again

The staff was awesome! Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and accomodating. The hotel isn't a big commercial hotel so there is more of an "at home" feeling when you are there. The room was nice and was a good size. The kitchen and bathroom in the room are pretty old fashioned but they do the job. Overall I was very pleased with this hotel and I would definitely stay again!

Great accommadations. Clean and fresh. Close to many things.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Felt like you were visiting friends. Good for kids with room, kitchen and nice bedding. Very quiet and comfortable. Location was safe and handy.
