Quote: I got a special deal on this hotel, so I wouldn't normally of stayed there (too pricy for my budget), but I really loved it. With historic architecture and style, it was very charming. The food in the small restaurant/bar was also good...shrimp &... Read the full The Carolina Inn-Chapel Hill review

Great guest care

Quote: The staff at the Carolina Inn is very attentive and prepared to meet all our needs. When we left to walk to Franklin St. for dinner and it was raining, we were offered Carolina Inn umbrellas to use for our walk.

Very decent hotel, incredible location.

Quote: The hotel has some charm but is nothing exceptional. The rooms were adequate and clean. The real draw is the excellent location right next to the UNC campus and down town.

Best place to stay in Chapel Hill!

Quote: I stayed for two nights. It was very convenient to UNC - just across the street. But the room was expensive for it's size. I was alone, but it would have been too small for a couple. The room was clean and well maintained.

An elegant hotel with excellent service at a resonable price.

Please note that the hotel was a great value due to getting the room for more than half price . Be... Read the full The Carolina Inn-Chapel Hill review

Quote: We have stayed at the Carolina Inn several times while visiting our daughter at UNC. The location can't be beat, right off Franklin St, the main shopping/restaurant area in Chapel Hill. It's also on campus, so you can park your car and walk... Read the full The Carolina Inn-Chapel Hill review

Quote: always friendly greeting and immaculate rooms. Bar is somewhat small - relative to the hotel size and can get very crowded.

Quote: I loved the charm and ambience of this hotel. It was like stepping back in time with southern hospitality and charm reminisicent of 'Gone with the Wind'.
