I guess this hotel is okay if you really want to stay in the Centro area of Iguacu Falls, but it doesn't compare to Bourbon Cataratas Hotel, which is about 4 miles out of town on the road towards the airport. The internet connection the folks at the Mercure gave me for my laptop didn't work, so they gave me another. When it didn't work, they called in an outside computer guy, who was going to charge me R50 if he got it to work (I needed it). He couldn't fix it, so there was no charge. However, I had no internet while I was there. The room was okay, although I could not get the air conditioner to function properly (either off or freezing). Parking was a problem, if you park on the street you get a ticket. If you let the guys valet park your car it always took a while to get the car. Breakfast was good.
