If VALUE is what you want...

The hotel is several miles from the Las Vegas Strip. If the prime hotels are too expensive or sold out -- stay here. There is plenty to do. The hotel is reasonably nice and clean. There are even movie theaters in the casino! There seemed to be least 10 restaurants and a large casino section with table games. The clientele is more urban than the yuppie international scene on the LV strip. We paid $* when the only other places that low in price were of Motel 6 quality. Needless to say, we were very pleased with the hotel. The next night we paid $* and stayed at Hooters. Hooters was another good hotel. The South Strip part of the Strip is the BEST!

What A Surprise

Texas Station was a terrific surprise. Resort looked like a strip hotel except it was not as congested. Has a chance to mingle with the locals. Room was clean and looked just like other rooms i have stayed in on the strip. Stayed in town for 4 days and only went to the strip once and that was to go to Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay which was closed. Room was only 35 a night. For a place with all of it's features I think you can't beat it plus the kids have plenty to do 2.

We normally don't stay off the strip, or take our kids. We had a great time. The movie theater was nice, the bowling alley was beautiful, the kids quest was fun. Lots of food choices. Friendly dealers and support staff. Nice Bingo Hall, fun slots. The rooms weren't anything special, but weren't gross either. Clean, quiet, enough space. Bring your own shampoo, theirs is lacking. If you want fancy, go to Red Rock. This was also only minutes from Strip. Easy parking in and out. Not a romantic getaway, but great for

Glad We Picked This One!

We picked Texas Station because we didn't want to be on the strip. Met other family members there to visit sister.
