Not for Business Travelers

For business travelers, there are 2 main issues: 1. Internet service: It is not wireless and you have to pay $10.99 a day! 2. Breakfast buffet: Depending on your room, you receive free passes for the breakfast buffet but it does not open until 8am. I did have serveral of my clients & the rental car agency warn me that the hotel was in a bad part of town but I did not have any issues or see any cause for concern.

Great Place

This was a great place to stay. All of the staff was very friendly from the hotel desk, any of the dining options, housekeeping, bars, etc. Every type of dining from fine dining, quick food and a diner and starbucks. Convenient location, easy to find. Very clean and you felt safe. I would stay here again.

Very reasonable

I got a very good deal that I booked the day before I was travelling. The room and hotel were very clean and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. The casino is almost entirely electronic games, so if you want to play table games, this isn't the place to play. The breakfast buffett was only $5.99 but the food was unimpressive. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from the strip or 5 minutes from Freemont Street. They also seem to cater more towards families as they have an arcade, pool, and movie theater among other things. Next time I will try to stay closer to the strip, but it I cannot find a decent deal, I would come back here.

Great place off the beaten path

For anyone looking for a bargain and a wonderful place to stay, Texas Station is the place. Great food in the buffet and many other restaurants and fast food to choose from. Everyone was friendly.

Far away from the strip. Clean and safe though.

Apart from the server in one of the restaurants being rude, this hotel is ok. I just asked for a caraffe of hot water for my mom and she looked at me as if I stole the caraffe from her. When I told her that I borrowed it from 1 of their cafe locations, she relented and got the hot water. When she handed me the container she added "Next time, go get your hot water from the location where you got the container from!" Hmmm.. Not as busy as the strip area and the description of ?blocks away from the strip is not true. It is actually around 4 miles away. Definitely not walking distance.
