Nice Stay

For a highway hotel, I found this to be a nice stay. Better than expected. This is a a newer midsize hotel with a very modern feel, next to the frontage road off I-10. The lobby/breakfast room sparkled and had two large flat panel TVs. There were about 10 tables for the complimentary morning buffet. While the breakfast was limited to ceral, muffins, toaster items with hb eggs and fruit, it was nicely laid out and clean. The rest of the property and the rooms were very clean as well. Our double room was generously sized with modern furniture, granite counters, and tempurpedic style foam mattresses. The 32inch HD LCD TV was an unexpectedly nice touch. They have a pool for summertime use suitable for small kids. It's next to the parking lot overlooking the freeway. The views from the upper floors on the south side of the building were pretty good. My only critiscism was that the heating unit seemed quite loud when it kicked on. We kept it on the fan setting just so it wouldn't startle us when it came on during the night.

Noisy Visit...

We checked in and went to the room for a much needed nap, and found out that we were located next to a noisy mid-school swim team(would have been good information to give us at check in---we would have opted not to stay!)--called the front desk and was told that they would talk to them about the banging doors and yelling and running in the hall, but nothing was done. We finally gave up on the nap and went shopping and to dinner, which was great, but when we came back to the room, the noise did not let up until 11:30 that night. Terribly dissapointed. The bed was very uncomfortable. The toiletries had not been refreshed and there was no extra towels. Very frustrating stay.

Great Place/Nice People

We were here for only 2 nights while we moved our son and family to town. The room was great, the price was even better than a Super 8 we stayed at the night before in OK, and the staff was wonderful. We found out the next night that we had left our pillows (I like my own. *s*) and when I talked with housekeeping they said they would mail them to us and they did! I highly recommend this hotel!

Bad Bed

this is a beautiful hotel. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The only downfall, and to it was a big one, the bed was so uncomfortable that I got up and slept on the couch.
