Best Holiday Inn I've Ever Seen!

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the last 2 1/2 months for business - I am actually going back again in 1 week. From the moment I pulled in I was impressed with the litter-free, clean, and well-maintained grounds. The lobby is very nice, not too large, but comfortable. The desk staff is so very friendly. A few times I had to stand in line to check in, and each of those times I was greeted within seconds and told they'd be right with me.
The rooms are fantastic. Not 5-star luxury w/ expensive amenities, but they've got everything you could need. First and foremost, they're CLEAN. Each room (I think each room, at least each one I've stayed in) had a kitchenette, bar w/ stools, a couple of kitchen items (pot, pan, dishes, utensils), a coffeemaker, sink, microwave, dorm-size refridgerator - so great because many nights I just stopped at the grocery store and brought a frozen meal back to heat up in the room.
They t.v.s are the large flat screen t.v.s (Sharp or something) - and while they're cool, and swivel in any direction, the picture isn't the greatest. It's not bad, I've just seen better on a regular "square" type t.v.
The food is okay. Having had breakfast there over 15 times now, the french toast is the best, everything else is okay. For dinner, the chili cheese burger is great - the other items I tried were just okay.
Overall, a great stay - the staff is so committed to customer service, each employee you pass in the hall, elevator, outside, has a smile and a hello.
Stayed a week, wished it was longer.

I stayed at this hotel on business and I was very impressed. I come into Santa Maria often and have tried practically every hotel here. This was my first time at the Holiday Inn and I will make it my number 1 choice. It was very easy to work in my room, which for a business traveler is a commodity. The Wireless didn't cause me any problems and the work desk was very comfortable. It was nice to be able plug my MP3 player to the clock/radio to hear my favorite tunes. The staff was very friendly. I requested extra pillows and they brought them to the room in a very timely manner. Unlike other hotels.
Overall I'd have to say that the Holiday Inn is the best hotel in Santa Maria.

This place is nice. I stayed here on business overnight and I enjoyed it enough to write this reveiw. I noticed the bad reveiws from other people, but I booked because of a recommendation from a friend. I hear they remodeled recently and it shows. There was a plasma TV in the room, which was a nice surprise. I also enjoyed the service.
