check -in was fast but our room had alot to be desired it was the worst room lay-out i have ever seen. the furniture was the cheapest particle board stuff the walls were scratched-up with colored marker, the grout in the bath needed work,molded and dirty,there was even something on the bathroom door that looked like blood or red sauce.looking to watch local news on tv was a joke.the desk help could not tell us how to do it. i,m not sure that i would have gotten a better room if i would have said anything to the desk. better luck next door. best rating is 2 stars most for location.
Dissapointing Treatment

The check-in man had 'attitude' as soon as he saw we had booked through online travel website. We were given a disabled room (no separate sitting area, no bath tub). When we queried it, he said it was because the hotel was fully booked, however it was very obvious by the lack of customers during our 3 days that the hotel was far from booked out, in fact the breakfast room ususally had 3 or 4 occupied tables at a time, if that. This treatment ruined our experience in what was actually a very nice hotel.

Spring HIll Marriott vary comfortable and close to Bill street. Good place to stay.
Nice hotel in downtown Memphis

Staff was very friendly, great breakfast, good location to downtown sights. Rooms with even numbers have balconies with view of park. Internet service seemed a little slow at times. My husband and I stayed here with our three children for one night. Overall it was a great stay and I would be happy to stay here again.
