Great Location and Rooms

My husband worked while I went shopping and to shows. There are two doormen at the Omni that must be the best in NYC helping me get around the city, where to purchase, places to go, etc. We stayed three weeks in the Madison Suite and during this time, we had turn-down service with chocolates on our pillows each night. The restaurant isn't much to talk about. The hotel is in the perfect location and has a lovely, inexpensive hair/nail salon across the street along with Versace, Ann Taylor Loft, Cartier.etc. Great stay!
Trying something different

I will be trying a different hotel in future visits to NY. As an Omni select member I was disappointed with my room again.Wallpaper peeling, ceiling separated in entry way with exposed dust and darkness, not sure what would be coming out of it. Looked like the furniture had never been moved for vacuuming. Light bulbs were out, makeup mirror didn't work, requested extra hangers never received.Had to sit sideways on bed to see T.V. Entry way chest was bent and looked as though it would fall down. Construction taking place next to hotel. Location and the salon across the street are great!

My daughters and I booked 2 adjoining rooms for our girls weekend. Perfect hotel for this...walking distance to everything, Broadway shows, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Madison shopping! Staff is terrific! Beds are to look forward to after all that walking! Already planning our next trip back to the Omni in the spring!

"This was an excellent hotel. The room was clean, large, and quiet(for NYC standards)! We were able to get a rollaway bed within minutes of our arrival. We got a free upgrade for joining Omni's membership club (free). We also got free turndown service. We will definitely stay their again with our 4 year old son!"
Underwhelmed

My wife and two daughters stayed 3 nights at the Omni and when she asked about complimentary morning coffee, the concierge laughed condescendingly. The room was average and not worth the money. People in the next room were noisy and pounding on the wall which was paper thin. A disappointing experience except for the doorman who was very helpful.
