Everything was great. The breakfast was great also. I wish I had request a first floor room since my husband had a problem climbing the stairs.

My family spent a few days in the Charlottesville area and we needed a place with queen size beds and a free breakfast. The room was large and clean. A frig and microwave would have been nice. The man at the front desk was great! He gave us a very useful map, explained how to get where we wanted to go, and recommended restaurants that gave us a discount.

My family and I came to this hotel very tired and grumpy but the front desk and the cleanliness of the room made check in a breeze. Our sleep was much needed and fitfull thanks to the quietness of the location. Even thjough it's right off the ineterstate its still tucked away from the noise nicely. I will stay here again.
"Roaches, Smell & Noise"

Am surprised at the high rating. Entire floor smelled like mildew, the heater sounded like a cement mixer and the first room they put us in had cockroaches in the bathroom (2nd room didn't). One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had.

Hotel overall was adequate but I did not like the "safe fee" tacked on to my bill I nearly signed. I didn't use the safe, had no need for the safe, and paid plenty for a room hardly used for a short night. The added charge made me feel like the management would take advantage of someone quickly signing out even though he removed the charge when I asked. I don't like feeling like the bill was padded with bogus charges.
