Terrible Experience

The bath tub was clogged so the drain was removed and left on the side of the tub for three days. The beds were so hard it felt like I was sleeping on a blacktop road. The room was far from clean. The first night we had two rolls of toilet paper with about 15 sheets on each. No replacement rolls. The bar was supposed to have happy hour from 4 - 7 and didn't even open till five. Happy hour prices were limited to a very few items. Overall this was one of the worst hotel experiences in my life.

If you're just looking for a place to sleep at night, this is an okay hotel, but if you want a shower that works, a toilet that doesn't run all night, and the basics you find in most hotels these days, just go across the street.
The Good:
The pool area was large, and open, and the hot tub was great.
The location is good. It is right off Highway 19, near exits for Clearwater beaches. It is about 15 minutes from the beach in traffic.
It is also right across the street from Lenny's--you HAVE to eat there.
Hotel staff was helpful, if a bit clueless.
The Bad:
The restaurant staff was surly at best.
The kiddie pool looked like it was full of moss.
The sauna was broken.
The Ugly:
The bathtub was gross, and it backed up quickly, taking forever to drain.
Our phone didn't work, and when it was fixed, we were left with the working phone and the leftovers of the repair, plus the nonworking phone.
Our secondary door lock was broken.
The remote for the television was missing, and when it was replaced, the television didn't work. I discovered that it was unplugged, and then had to jimmy it to make it reach the nearest outlet.
The vanity outlet was cracked and shifty, and when plugging in an appliance, it would short the vanity light.

We have traveled alot in the past couple of years. I usually book off the internet from of photos and location. Location was a complete dissappointment! Very industrial.... very strip centerish. Room was not well represnted on website. Staff was very nice, especially since we could not find the place and had to call four times to get directions. When we told our friends where we were staying they responded with a look of disappointment for us. They did say there was a fabulous breakfast restauarant across the street. We cmpletely agreed!
Next time - I will spend the extra $$$$ to stay in a nicer local.

i arrived the front desk person mary was very nice, she gave me a key, when i opened my room, it was filthy , tv did not work, beds were not working probably since they were supposed to be the beds with the sleep by numbers. There was things on the curtain. I was traveling with 5 people and not enought room, so i called the front desk and told mary and she gave me another room, again alittle cleanier but not really and the door did not work, the pool was dirty, no jacuzzi, the soda machine took your money. I was going there because I am looking for a home in Florida, after this experience, I would never recommend a Radisson Again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
