Great location!

We really enjoyed this hotel, had views of the river from both our rooms and it was stunning, especially at night.......we did not like the restuarant but it was a temporary location due to remodeling and since we got a voucher for 2 free breakfast buffet that included gratuity, it was okay. The only drawback I had was internet was 6.00 for 15 minutes and with teens that can be expensive, but other than that we were quite satisfied. checkin and out was a breeze and the valet was quick and friendly..also gave us great directions, many maps, so all in all I would definitely stay here again, but bring a laptop for the kids.

Good experience

The front desk staff was extremely pleasant and efficient. It's a typical Hyatt, but very well appointed, with a wonderful bed and nice bathroom. Lovely bar.

Great location, reasonable price and nice updated rooms

This is our #1 choice of hotels in Austin. We love being right on the river and in walking distance of the dog park. You are a long walk or short cab right to all the action downtown. The lobby area is beautiful and they always have several games showing all day long - it's a comfortable area to sit with a drink a relax for a bit. They also cater to your canine companions. Our little dog received room service of bones when we arrived.

Overall the Hotel is a great place to stay, either business or pleasure. I do have a real complaint about the internet. They want $9.99/day for wireless access through t-Mobile. I was not able to connect via the wired port in my room on 2 seperate stays.

While this hotel is very nice, little to nothing is provided without additional fees. For example, the "complimentary" bottled water in the rooms is charged at $4.95 per bottle to the room..
