Great Stay

This Inn is very charming, decor is nice, staff is terriffic! Gardens are lovely, two blocks from the harbor with restaurants. Wine and cheese at night and fresh breakfast in the morning. We will come again soon.

Not impressed...

For the price, the room was really not in great shape. Paint was peeling off of the walls, it was very musty, everything had a damp feeling to it. The bathroom needed upgrades particularly badly. The shower was small and in disrepair, the floor of the shower was coming apart, and the tiles were cracked all over the bathroom. The pool and hot tub are miniscule, and while the location is close to the beach, it is actually still a ways away. The hotel describes itself as having "ambience" when really it is just old and in need of upkeep. The parking lot is also especially small.

Left early

In one word: scary! Sheets, towels and blanket were thin and old. Pillows were lumpy and small and the bed was very uncomfortable. Spa was small and looked half full of water. Shower was tiny and dark with a strange showerhead dangling from a plastic hose. Room had a musty smell. A huge cat was in the small lobby which is not good for people like myself with asthma. We checked out after one night and moved to a hotel nearby that was cheaper and more recently remodeled.

Not worth the money

The facility wasn't worth the money. The facility was old and run down. The room was small, 1 person could barely fit in the shower. For the amount of money they could easily upgrade the hotel.

Good value for the price

This is an older motel that has been updated to kep it clean and comfortable. It is in a location that gives easy access to many areas. The breakfast and refreshments were very good and there was hot coffee available all day. For the area, the prices are more reasonable than most. That is probably because although it has been updated nicely, it is still an older hotel. I missed having a bathtub but would stay there again.
