great staff and room for value

Overall the hotel was a good deal, for what it's worth. The staff was accomendating, the elevators were not at all slow, the jacuzzi was big and nice. There is complimentary breakfast and the location is great. Negative; The drainage was very slow in the tub + sink, We got 2 twin beds, (I have not slept in a twin size bed since I was a child). Would stay again, since prices for vacation packages are so expensive now, this hotel is definiately a bargin. We did not stay at the hotel much, we walked to WaiKiKi beach most of the time and relaxed There.

I'm 24 yrs old & went to Oahu for my bf and I's 5 yr anniversary. Staff was great. Check in was fast, and they upgraded us from a standard room, to an ocean view on 31st floor. Rooms are nice and comfy. Very basic with a bed, tv, dresser, and clean bathroom. Elevators were a bit slow, but nothing too major. Just be patient, after all Hawaii is all about having a good time. Don't sweat the small stuff.

Out of 6 hotels in the USA, this was easily the worst. We booked a double room with 2 double beds, got twin singles! Not enough room for our bags, let alone us. The bathroom was so small, there was barely room to get out of the shower to dry yourself. We complained that we'd paid for double beds, so they moved us to the 25th floor which has NO elevator, so bags had to be dragged up and down a flight of stairs. Staff tried hard, but this place is a dump. No wireless internet access to rooms either. Only air-conditioned in rooms, so all the common areas are hot and steamy. The aircons in the rooms are really noisy but you cannot leave them off or the room heats up to an unbearable level. Not worth the money by any stretch of the imagination.

The service was great, we were there on a budget and this hotel allowed us to do that. It was a short walk from Wakkii. You have to pay for parking but where don't you. Great people, great location, It was certainly good times.
