One of worst hotels in America!

Please don?t stay here ? horrible! ?Reservation not really a reservation, just a request;" given one bed, not two. "Non-smoking" room: Cigarette ashes on tables/in sink, bedspread w/ cigarette burns, cobwebs, peeling paint, dust thick enough to write name, no clock, topsheet, or shampoo, pet hair, dirty shower/silverware/sink/coffeepot, scary/drunken long-term residents. Only available room in Athens so no choice...should've bought sleeping bags & slept in car. THAT bad. Stay ANYWHERE but here. P.S. Management felt "more than generous" to offer $10 discount - unbelievable! :o(
Hotel could be great but...

Hotel has potential to be really good.Problem areas: 1) bathroom floor wet at arrival ( also excessive fragrance). 2)No filter in window AC unit/ dust on coils, 3)phone not working-mgmt no help,4)No mgmt avail Sunday morning until 10am,5)Had two entry cards, one of which quit working Sunday morning.6) No daily change of towels.You must bring linens to office and exchange for clean-we were not told that.Items 4 & 6 should be clearly communicated at check-in. I liked that there was a security guard on duty at night, quiet(a real ++) and a kitchenette in room.
