Very pleased with our stay at the Holiday Inn at Astoria. The room was very spacious and clean. the staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was way more than expected and the hotel offered a wonderful view of the ocean. We were so pleased with our sty that we cancelled our reservation at our next destination and changed it to another Holiday Inn.

Beautiful, clean room overlooking the river. Excellent value for the money. Sweet little town with beautiful waterfront.
Nice hotel by river & trolley

The hotel sign says, "Where sleeping under the bridge is a good thing." And it is true. It is located almost under the US101 bridge over the Columbia River, but we did not hear road noise. The old railway between the hotel and river hosts a cute town trolley that can be boarded just outside of the hotel. Hotel staff was very helpful & competent.
