3 star? Really???

Hmmm. Where to start. The bed's hard, the chairs are stained, we have two tv's. It's kind of plain. When I see three stars, I expect a certain level, and this didn't hit it. Is it the best in Winslow? Perhaps, but don't let the rating of 3 stars sway you the way it did us. I never ever expect plastic cups in a 3 star. 2 star, yes.I travel a lot for business. :)

I looked around. This was the best motel I found in Winslow. It was clean and comfortable. The rest I seen were real dumps.
Just What Was Needed

Was late at night on a cross-country move and needed a place to stay. Went to 2-3 motels before settiling on the Days Inn. The rate was very reasonable. The manager was entertaining and helpful. The rooms were pretty drab and the bed was not soft but it served the purpose without draining the bank.

The management worked very hard to accomodate our family and we surely appreciated that. We travel to Winslow often yet this is the first time I've stayed at this particular hotel, it's better than majority of the others, perhaps with the exception of La Posada, which was booked 7 months ago for the date we needed. Pleased to have been accomodated at Days Inn. Clean and Friendly small town hotel. This is a much finer establishment than some of the hotels I've stayed in Europe.
