We got in kind of late...impressed with the service; front desk was very courteous to us...the rooms were well modeled and looked like new...enjoyed the flat screen tv but not paying $10 for internet service. Pool was clean...all around good!
Not even 5 minutes from downtown and I40!

I was a bit apprehensive booking a stay at this hotel w/all the somewhat negative reviews I've read. I booked at an amazing rate and have to say - I was quite pleased! The location seemed to be in a quiet, safe, well lit area. It is about 5 min. to downtown and the hotel IS NOT falling a part as some indivduals have stated. Our room was nice, clean, roomy, and up to date. The walls weren't as thin as some have stated - as a matter of fact the ONLY noise we heard was housekeeping from OUTSIDE our room door. The down comforter, the beds, the pillows a plenty, and double sheeting were so comfortable, it was the BEST restful sleep I've had EVER during any hotel stay! I am an extremely picky individual when it comes to hotels, cleanliness, comfort, safety, and price. My husband and I agree that this hotel IS a very nice place to stay and would recommend it to family and friends hands down! The only downfall was I didn't receive my GooGoo candy upon arrival. I inquired, but was told that w/the economy, it was either the candy that went to cut cost or an employee - I have to say, this hotel knows it's priority! Staff and workout facility were awesome as well.

I stayed here because I got a great deal online, but the taxes added $20 more to cost. I did not like having to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke when entering hotel. Room nice, clean, bed comfortable and nice flat screen tv. The resturant is pricey and few selections. Staff nice and helpful. There is also a bar and gift shop.

I have stayed at this hotel before, and it keeps getting worse. This was the last time i will stay there. I have stayed there mainly for the amenities; pool, tennis, jacuzzi, sauna, and the location is easy to get to. They took out the tennis court a year or so ago, and on this trip i found out they took out the jacuzzi and sauna - which on a cold weekend i really wanted! The room had peeling wallpaper and water stains on the ceiling; and i woke up in the morning to find the bathtub filling up with water coming from the drain. I skipped a shower and went to breakfast as the online company included free breakfast, the buffet is very mediocre and the menu items didn't look much better. The whole hotel had a very sad, decaying feel about it. The staff were friendly, but not exactly professional in demeanor. The hotel has very cheap rates and now i know why.
