This hotel is a classic. Great location if you're doing business in the Hollywood area. Excellent service. Rooms okay. Priced appropriately. Macy's is right across the street if you find that you forgot something like I did. I didn't use the spa but heard it was superb. Nice outside area by pool for end of the day meetings with clients.

Hyatt Regency Century Plaza

Location wise we found this hotel to work great for us. It was a little far from some of the places we visited, but it was convenient for to nearby places to go at night and to Hollywood. Just across the street was an outdoor mall with a nice AMC theater, food court, and, of course, shops. For interest sake the MGM building is behind the hotel and the FOX studios are right next door, but they are closed to the public.

As can be expected from the Hyatt the rooms are nice including the balcony each room has complete with a table and chairs, so you can sit out there and enjoy fresh air. Our room had double beds, a television, and a desk. The toiletries are Hyatt Portico, which I personally love the scents they come in (Lavender and Citrus this time), shampoo, conditioner, lotion, facial soap, and massage bar.

The hotel has restaurants, a shop, and a pool, but we were too busy outside the hotel to check any of those places out.

Great Customer Service

I stayed here while on a business trip. I had a couple of last minute items to purchase for an event that I was attending. I paid the $25 for the valet, but it was worth it. After my initial drop-off, I could just pull up and get out of my car and the valet would take care of the car for me and they even knew my name. Then, when I needed to leave, I just called downstairs and my car was always ready for me. The doormen were especially friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!
