Absolutely wonderful!! Very friendly staff

This is by far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Stopped in on our check-in day at 9 AM just to "check it out". Manager said the room was ready and offered to let us check in right then! Hotel has the best continental breakfast. In addition to the normal fare [waffles, bread, fruit, juices] they had chafing dishes of sausage & eggs, fresh croissants, cereals, etc. Very clean throughout. One of the elevators was a little "possessed" and the next day was taken out of service. We could literally not find enough good things to say about this reasonably priced hotel. They cater mostly to business travellers. It's on the far north side of Phoenix but well worth the distance. Beds were very comfortable. Next trip to Phoenix we will definitely stay here.

Country Inns & Suites @ Deer Valley

The Country Inns and Suites at Deer Valley were nearly new and exceptionally clean. The rooms were of a reasonable size and appointed with the necessary equipment for a business traveller. The phone service was adequate with two line phones and hook ups available for my laptop. The breakfast bar was well stocked with continental fair, tea, coffee and juices. A patio area just outside the lobby provided an excellent spot to enjoy my morning coffee and USA Today. The hot tub and pool were clean and open till ten at night. The exercise room was small, but equipped with a weight machine and two cross training devices. There were at least three meeting rooms in the hotel and they were full every day during my visit. There is no bar or restaurant at the facility, but room service has been arranged with several of the local eateries. I ordered a pizza from one of the restaurants one evening and enjoyed it on the patio with a bottle of Merlot. Ask for a room up high on the back of the hotel. The front rooms look out on Highway 101, but there are some decent mountain views from the back rooms. I''ve stayed at better places, but good service and the bottomless cookie jar tip the scale for me to go back.
