Very nice hotel, in an excellent location. Good food nearby and easy access to metro station. Safe and clean.

Great value and location near DC

My husband, son and I stayed for five days during spring break. We planned to visit as many DC attractions as we could so we wanted a place located close to the Metro and the airport. This hotel filled the bill. We got a good night's sleep in the sleep number beds and everything was clean about the room. There were a number of restaurants within walking distance so we had our pick every night. The hotel attendants at the desk gave us good advice about a pub called Crystal City Sports Bar. We got a free shuttle to and from the airport with no problem. I would recommend this hotel very highly.

Very nice hotel

I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. I especially liked the addition of the Sleep Number beds -- people who have a difficult time sleeping in hotels will appreciate this. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The place can be a bit noisy in the morning, as this is a rather busy part of the DC/Arlington area, but nothing too bothersome. Location near Crystal City shopping center and metro station is also a plus. I recommend trying the breakfast buffet at the 2020 Bistro adjacent to the hotel lobby. Not a cheap hotel, but well worth the price.

Not a four smiley face hotel

Location was convenient and short from airport. Rooms were standard but the sleep number beds were very nice. Rooms stayed on the cool side nad we had to crank the heat. I didn't notice if the pool was seasonal when I booked so a huge disappointment to the kids when we couldn't swim. The hallway smelled funny. Room service was good and the fare was a little better than expected although the kids meals were a little not standard American fare. Found a pair of socks under the bed skirt, unfortunately they didn't belong to us. EW! Desk clerks were helpful if you got the right one. For the most part pretty knowledgable. Used the business center for the Internet and constantly had problems and had to reboot even going so far as going to the Hampton next door to find a movie. Lots of room movie selection. A lot of hotels in the same area. i would probably try the Sheraton if it was close in price . Experience was so so. Breakfast buffet for the continental breakfast was about $7.00. I've had better buffets with more food for free. Fod wasn't bad but wait staff was a little slow.

Good place to stay but don't eat there.

The hotel itself was nice, but they closed the restaurant without notice on Thanksgiving and had to send guests to a sports bar down the street for dinner. The food from room service was very bad and not as advertised.
