Easy, Easy, Easy!

Timber Run is an older property but it has been kept up and was clean, comfortable and had great Jacuzzi's and pool. We have stayed in many properties through the years from 5-star to 3-star and this was a great property. The staff were friendly, helpful and on top of things. The shuttle to the ski slopes was virtually door-to-door to where we rented and stored our equipment each night. I don't think we walked more than 20 yards the entire week. They also provided an easy shuttle to downtown and to the Ski Area all the time. We would definitely stay here again. The affordability and value of what was provided made this a great experience. It was easy and hassle free which is the best kind of vacation!

Timber Run has the friendliest and most helpful staff, wonderful amentities and one of the most convenieint shuttles to the mountain in all of Steamboat. It is one of the best value properties in Steamboat and it has a real laid back feel with plenty of grounds for the kids to play on after ski.

This was my second time at Steamboat and first time at Timber Run. My wife and kids (ages 7 &9) skied with me and we had no problems here. The transportation is easy -- we took a shuttle from Hayden and the Resort shuttle ran frequently. The shuttle drivers and the resort staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Our 2 bedroom condo was fully equipped with pots pans and humidifier and two TVs. The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor pool was a blast and the hot tubs were fun. We were given special towels and robes for the pool area. The staff made us feel special. They had donuts and coffee/cocoa for breakfast. Special outdoor lockers for each room to hold the ski equipment. We will definitely be back. We normally ski in/ski out at Breckenridge, but the shuttle here was okay. It also took us downtown to eat and to the grocery, which is easier than dealing with the traffic in Breckenridge.

We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. Everything was great. The unit was up to date, everything worked. There was a sleeper sofa so it really could sleep 6. There are 3 hot tubs, 2 by themselves and 1 by the pool, all were good. The pool is open all winter. It's too far to walk to the base with ski boots but it would be fine in the summer or if you stayed late at the bar and needed to walk home, maybe 15 minutes, it's not a simple 1,500 feet as described on the web, but not bad it you had to do it. It The shuttle was reliable. We would stay here again.

The Timber Run was a great place for us to stay. The shuttle ran frequently and it was very easy getting to the ski mountain, downtown and the different places to shop. The service and friendly staff was really the icing on the cake. They would always go the extra mile in answering questions and were very friendly. Our 2 bedroom had a full kitchen and we felt right at home immediately. The pool & 3 hot tubs are very new and the walkways were heated. We are planning on coming back to Steamboat (the snow was unreal) next season and we will stay at the Timber Run again.
