Nice but Expensive

Overall I have stayed here five times in the past 10 years. The rooms are "country cute" and they offer such items as: gas fireplace, a couple of small bottles of sparkling apple cider, and a wooden apple for a keepsake. Their beds are comfortable and you feel very safe in and around the hotel. They have a nice bakery/restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We often go their in the evening for a good dessert. One of the downfalls is the cost. It is very expensive for what you receive. I stayed here last weekend, Apple Farm King Room and the 2 nights cost close to $. You can stay at the Apple Farm Court - which is a typical one story, exterior hallway, motel for under $ a night. But the Court reminds me of a Travelers Inn with a few extra touches inside the rooms. The location is easy on and off the Highway 101. 15 minutes from Morro Bay or Pismo Beach (depending which direction you drive). The Inn is a short drive to downtown and if you are lucky enough to be there on a Thursday night - go downtown and enjoy the Farmers Market (much more than produce!) Typically I stay elsewhere and enjoy the restaurant and town.

Nosiest Ever Stayed In!

Pro-
umm let's see...oh I know...this hotel was nice and clean.
Con-
Very noisy, near freeway, poor weather proofing on window (could hear the wind like a scooby do cartoon) In my room I could hear a tree banging the roof (improper tree trimming), When I asked to change rooms because of the noise and not being able to sleep (when I made the reservations I was assured I was going to be a quite room) the counter person said I would need to pay a higher rate, an extra $200 for the entire stay. So here I am unable to sleep and its 2am. I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy. For the $ you pay the rooms should be comfortable. I will not return!

Apple Farm WAS a nice place to stay

Things sure changed once the family that owned and operated the inn sold to a hotel corporation. Affordable pricing, accomplanied by the warm, welcoming apple scent is what I remember. My last stay was over 4 years ago and I was not impressed.

love this place!!!

NEVER STAY HERE...RIP OFF

I went on-line to book a honeymoon sweet since I received a gift certificate to apple farm from my mother who has stayed here for over 20 years. No where on their site does it say that their specialty sweet has to be ordered over the phone, it actuall says you can order a king specialty sweet...there is a difference between a specialty sweet with a king and a king specialty sweet. We love lavish in the good life and we refuse to stay in anything less than top notch hotel. So when I called to confirm my reservation they said we made the reservation for the wrong room...we had to call to get the room we wanted, but it doesn't say that anywhere on their site and they name their rooms to confuse people into thinking their room is better, then you get there and you get a tiny room that you didn't want!!! So I called to complain and all I asked for was a sorry note to be on my bed when I came in saying sorry for the inconvience and hope you enjoy your stay...THAT'S IT!!! The hotel manager said that the hotel did nothing wrong and it was my fault for not calling and they will do no such thing, even though I ordered $1000 worth of massages for my wife and I and said I wouldn't return...they said, "we don't feel we did anything wrong so we will do nothing to correct your mistake sir!" When all I asked for was a note to make peace with my wife and I for falsly advertising their rooms...tmy family and friends will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN WITH THAT RUDE ATTITUDE...this was my honeymoon ruined!
