The good stuff- great location (within seconds to the hip Dupont Circle area and red line metro station- has resturants, retail and bars all very close) great room (very clean and spacious and great view of Massachusetts Ave) great hotel (had an business center with a internet connected computer and printer for use) The bad stuff- do not order room service (40 bucks for a salad and a couple of chicken tenders- a breakfast buffet for two will cost over 50- parking is 35 dollars a night and there is nowhere else to park fyi) All stuff to keep in mind.
"Great location, but don't get ripped off in bar"

It's all in the title, except, is there any hotel where you can walk through the lobby without hearing the staff talk about something else?

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful, but they ALWAYS expect a tip for everything. It's not such a good hotel for the kids unless it's the summer. Otherwise, it's very boring. We brought our kids and they got extremely bored. The food was horrible, but the rooms were kept clean. Perfect for businesses, though. As a whole, I would only reccommend it if you were to stay for a short period of time, and you don't have kids.

The location between Dupont Circle and Embassy Row is great. You can have a nice walk down the quiet streets of Embassy Row or go the opposite direction for the shopping, food, and night life in Dupont Circle. Being only a block and a half off the Metro is good, too. My room was great, but the hotel had no hot water in the morning - mechanical malfunction. But, the comped me breakfast. It's a good thing, too, because the buffet cost $20. I think they would have comped me more, but because the bill was prepaid, they couldn't credit my account.

"Extremely convenient, comfortable well appointed rooms, congenial staff. The menu served for the special event I attended was really mediocre. I would recommend eating elsewhere. "
