Disappointment abounds

I have always had good luck staying at comfort inn. This time was so different. My list of complaints is quite long but, here goes: No screen on window, Bed frame broken. It tilted to one side so it was like sleeping on a hill, The phone was so dirty and sticky that I placed a towel over it so as not to touch it when making and recieving calls, no wash clothed in room and only 2 towels for 4 people. when i called the front desk to ask about more it took more than an hour to get a response and I had to call to get that response- never recieved the linen, wet toilet paper stuck to the walls in the bathroom..........I could go on and on. This was the ftrst and last time I will stay at this comfort inn.

This was one horrible stay - fortunately I was there for only a night. I visit this area about once a month and have always stayed at the Best Western across the street. I decided to mix it up and stay here for a change. Big mistake. I have too many complaints to list them all. But here are a few: the property looks good from the street, but it's just a facade to lure you in. The motel is in major disrepair. The ethernet port had zero signal, the wi-fi was too weak to connect. Fortunately, the Best Western wi-fi worked for me and the log-in was still the same from a few weeks back. The deadbolt did not work. The room door was open when I checked in (weird feeling). The carpet in the hallway was very bad and torn up. Pool looked unhealthy (also not much bigger than a large jacuzzi). Room had a faint odor to it. Slats missing on blinds. Very close to the street so there was a lot of street noise. Desk but no desk chair. Stay clear of this one.

This is the WORST CIS I have ever stayed in!! We made Reserv.long before our vist. When we arrived AFTER check-in TIME. We still had to wait over an hour for our room. The first room we were given was not ready. We then were put in another room which we had to wait outside the room... because it was not done. The room was stuffy and the AIR COND. DID NOT WORK!!!which was a must since that room was in fornt of the building and it was hot and stuffy!!!We were moved ONE LAST time because the AIR COND. would NOT WORK!!!! WE will never stay here again!!!!!!VERY,VERY,DIRTY!!!Carpets And Overall!!!DIRTY CARPETS IN EVERY HALL!!!STINKY BEWARE!!!Not worth the good price!! spend alittle more get a better room some where else.!!!!!!

Awkward a bit but nice for Hollywood travel

WiFi internet connection is only possible in the area of registration desk. I thought I can use my laptop at my room, but no. I had to carry it to the registration office to check my mail and other jobs. Otherwise, everything is good for travelers to Hollywood. It's in walking distance to the Kodak Theather and H&H building, the center of the Hollywood tour point. And I felt very secure.

Good Location

I stayed with my 2 boys ages 6 and 12. The hotel is very safe, a person needs their hotel key to access the elevator to the rooms. The pool was small but very usable and a nice perk was a wonderful breakfast bar in the morning. I would definitely stay again.
