Our experience at Ellis Inn was very good. We booked a king suite, which was exactly as I expected. We had a beautiful room, sitting area, and view. We enjoyed the microwave and refrigerator. The morning breakfast was very filling and fresh. The parking was very convienient next to the hotel, and we were able to check in very early. (A parking pass would still have been given even if the room was not ready) The location was convienient to everything, and we walked everywhere. The down sides were a very busy front desk staff who didn't have time to be too personable. The other complaint from my kids is that the pool is next to the parking and unloading zone. I think it would be nicer with a barrior so that people passing by wouldn't be able to see you. I would stay again.

The hotel was convenient to Savannah's River Street and the activities there. Covered parking deck was nice in Savannah's heat. Only negative is that the hotel is on main street on way to Tybee Island so you'll hear trucks all night long.

The king suite was perfect for our family. The teenagers had a room to hangout in
with a view of the river. We felt safe and comfortable walking around the area to shop and dine.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was right in the middle of things and we could walk to many of the places we wished to visit. It was quiet and the staff we very helpful and willing to answer any questions we had. The swimming pool was not located in the best area and was more open that I would have liked but we had very little time to spend at it as we wanted to see Savannah. I liked that we could walk to River Street where all the shops, etc. were and could pick up transportation there too.

We had a great time when we were in Savannah! The Inn at Ellis Square is located a block away from the market square and in easy walking distance to River Street. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful!! Thanks for giving a great get away!
