Family Reunion

I found the overall stay at this hotel to be pleasant. I stayed at this very same hotel once before. I liked the location and the price, but I rented three rooms and two of them were in a bit of disrepair. Once of the bathrooms tub was clogged and the the paint was pealing off the tiles. The second bedroom smell like mildew and there was not internet connection in any of the rooms. However, there was a computer available in the Lobby area but it was busy with some kids playing games. It's my opinion that if the rooms had better maintenance, it would have more booking.

great value

good deal for mom and son with a short stay. pool was nice to have available and heated too! it could have used underwaterlighting for swimming after dark. beds were kind of hard. free breakfast was great. booked on line and it was easy. recommend for travelers on a budget.

We could not have asked for more. Great Location. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and quiet. We heard very little noise from other guests or street traffic. The beds were VERY comfortable. The A/C worked very well. Breakfast was great. This hotel was a nice suprise for our weekend get-away. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is basic, but decent. It is very close to downtown Asheville and there are many nice restuarants in close proximity to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would return to this hotel if we travel to Asheville again.

We stayed in the building in the rear of the hotel. Even though our room was located on the 2nd floor and to the far left, foot traffic noise was an issue. The hotel was filled to the gills over the holiday weekend and there were a lot of children everywhere making noise. I think that if the hotel hadn't been so full, it would have been a better experience so I do consider this a bit of a fluke. But do be warned that noise is an issue under these circumstances. Familes flock here.
